Youthful Struggles are Wonderful

What is youth? Youth can be walking through the trees on a pleasant spring day holding hands. Youth can be, dancing in the streets like no one is watching with your hair dyed all the colors of the rainbow. Youth can also be hanging out in bars or going to crazy parties, or even bungee jumping and flying a plane… but if this is all your youth was, one day, when you look back and regret the missed opportunities.

We decide what our youth will be, and we want it to be wonderful. At CMEC Comtrans, young employees account for 75% of our outstanding team. On May 20, the CMEC Comtrans Youth League organized the “Youthful Struggles are Wonderful” event for the Beijing employees.

Seven outstanding young finalists from different departments within Comtrans shared the stories of their youth. Some were ordinary employees, who had just joined CMEC Comtrans. They lived in Africa for a time, and rapidly adapted to this new environment by tenaciously overcoming various difficulties. They successfully completed task after task, quickly becoming a core member of the Comtrans team. Other speakers were department managers who possessed a pioneering, indomitable spirit that allowed them to lead their small teams bravely onward.

The stories of these seven outstanding young finalists exemplified the idea that “Youthful Struggles are Wonderful.” They represent our many outstanding young employees, embodying the CMEC Comtrans spirit.

The success of this event has encouraged CMEC Comtrans employees to work hard and strive for excellence. These employees have thrown their youth and enthusiasm into CMEC Comtrans, growing and developing with the company.
